Through our LIFE Summer Youth Camp, we provide weekly field trips throughout the summer program. These trips offer experiences to develop and expose our children to culture, art, recreation, and science!

Summer Youth Camp

The Summer Youth Camp includes structured outdoor play activities that include football, Frisby golf, soccer golf, jump rope, kick ball, roller skating and various other sporting activities. We ensure the safety and security of our participants with a fully staffed compliment of counselors and group leaders for maximum supervision.

This supervision allows us to provide the best experience for our participants.

What does the Summer Youth Camp offer?

We encourage team sports activities so that children can learn how to work together.
We help children to learn the importance of Horticulture (planting, tending and growing things in a garden) by partnering with the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank and the YMCA. This activity comes with a curriculum that teaches children to learn how to prepare microwavable meals.
As a result of COVID-19, we offer a Wellness group for our camp participants, helping them to cope with the changes in our world. A Master’s level counselor teaches cognitive behavioral therapy (Think, Feel, Behave) techniques to aid the children in understanding how to properly respond to interpersonal struggles that occur in their lives.
Our Creative Arts component “David’s Creative Corner” is a state of the art studio that focuses on developing the kid’s creative talents and abilities. We use a free application which allows the student to gain an understanding of how to create beats and other music for song writing, singing or poetry.
We offer an array of field trips to various places both locally and regionally that include but are not limited to: Tabor Museum, Reptile Land, Penn’s Cave, Rider Park, The Little League Museum, etc.

Our Goal

Our goal is to make our program exclusive as to the experience of the child in order to expose them to things that they have never seen or been a part of before. By doing so, we hope to expand their ability to dream about what they can become in life.

Christian Emphasis

We incorporate Biblical material throughout the camp that gives them the message of the gospel in child-like understanding. We use Bible versus from A-Z to help children get an understanding of the Bible in a very fun way. We have a Bible olympics that we will introduce the children to at the close of the camp.

Team-work Atmosphere

We encourage a team-work atmosphere in all our activities to aid in teaching the children how we achieve more together than we do apart from one another. This attitude and approach is encouraged to help the family unit, our schools and the community thrive.
